Jiangsu Yangkou Port Group visited the Asian Ocean Wind Energy Conference, and the two sides held a discussion on the offshore equipment industry

Today, Jiangsu Yangkou Port Construction and Development Group Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Yangkou Port Group") came to visit the office of the Organizing Committee of Asia Ocean Wind Energy Conference, and the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the development of offshore equipment industry. The symposium focused on the three characteristic industries of the Rudongyangkou Port Economic Development Zone, namely, the new chemical materials and fiber materials industry, the energy industry, and the offshore equipment and intelligent equipment industry.

During the discussion, Wang Xiaocheng, Chairman of Yangkou Port Group, introduced the latest developments in the field of new chemical materials and new fiber materials in the Dongyangkou Port Economic Development Zone. In recent years, relying on unique location advantages and policy support, the development zone has attracted a large number of well-known enterprises at home and abroad to invest, and gradually formed a competitive new materials industry cluster.

As an important energy hub in Jiangsu Province, Yangkou Port has made remarkable achievements, especially in the field of LNG. Yangkou Port has the largest LNG energy island in China, and has successfully attracted large energy companies such as CNPC and China Resources to set up LNG receiving stations here. The two sides held in-depth discussions on optimizing the layout of the energy industry and improving the synergistic effect of the energy industry chain.

As the focus of this exchange, the two sides conducted a comprehensive exchange on the development status and future trend of the offshore equipment and intelligent equipment industry. Yangkou Port Group introduced the advantages of Rudongyangkou Port Economic Development Zone in offshore equipment manufacturing, and expressed its hope to strengthen cooperation with the organizing committee of the Asian Ocean Wind Energy Conference.

Jiangsu Rudongyangkou Port Economic Development Zone was established in 2005, with an area of 110 square kilometers. It is a provincial development zone of Jiangsu Province and a national first-class open port. Yangkou Port belongs to Rudong County, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, China, is located in the economic core area of the Yangtze River Delta, with unique geographical advantages. Port across the sea and Japan, South Korea, connected to the world, across the river and Shanghai, southern Jiangsu dependent, upstream, can directly serve the entire Yangtze River basin. As the nearest deep-water port of more than 100,000 tons from Shanghai, Yangkou Port is an important node of Jiangsu coastal development.

In recent years, well-known enterprises at home and abroad have come to Yangkou Port, and a number of major projects with 10 billion level investment such as petrochina LNG receiving station project, Jinguang Household paper production base, Tongkun Polyester integration project, China Resources LNG receiving Station project, Taichung Chemical new materials Base project have settled in Yangkou Port.
